BSurv, BEngTech (Civil) Consulting Cadastral Surveyor
Byron is a Consulting Cadastral Surveyor registered with the Queensland Survey Board. After decades working in multiple survey disciplines he recognises that communication is essential to being a great Surveyor.
Starting as a survey assistant at the age of 17 his expertise spans a wide range of survey types, including cadastral surveys, detail surveys, and TMR motorway surveys. He has played a key role in large-scale rural and urban subdivisions, as well as medium and high-rise construction projects. Byron has significant experience in critical infrastructure projects, including mine infrastructure construction, motorway construction, gas plant construction, and pipeline reticulation sewer plant construction, residential and commercial set-outs, GIS mapping, and subdivision civil design.
4C Survey knows civil. Byron has a Civil Engineering Degree and over 10 years experience designing and modelling subdivisions. Including hundreds of Lots, retaining walls, storm-water and sewer reticulation worth hundred of millions of dollars.
Throughout his career, Byron has successfully delivered projects across Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia, and New Zealand, adapting to diverse regulatory frameworks and environmental conditions. His extensive industry knowledge, technical proficiency, and commitment to precision make him a valuable asset in any surveying or construction project.

Flynn is a dedicated shareholder of 4C Survey and has been training to become a professional Surveyor since 2021. While balancing hands-on experience in both office and field environments, he is also pursuing his studies online (Degree of Surveying at University of Southern Queensland). His commitment to continuous learning ensures he stays at the forefront of industry advancements.
As a qualified drone pilot, Flynn brings an innovative edge to surveying practices, leveraging cutting-edge technology for enhanced data collection and analysis. Each week presents new challenges, further refining his skills and deepening his expertise across various aspects of the profession.
With a clear vision for the future, Flynn is preparing to share then take over leadership of the family business during the next decade, ensuring a seamless transition in leadership. His dedication and strategic development position 4C Survey for long-term success, securing its legacy for decades to come.
